Man2Man Prostate Cancer Support Group, Memphis’ ZERO Prostate Cancer Group, is presented in partnership with The West Cancer Research Center. Our support group brings together men who are currently managing this disease, caregivers, friends, and medical professionals for confidential and healing discussions. If you have been touched by this disease, please come, and share your questions and experiences. You are not alone; we share our journeys and offer hope in place of fear. Learn more about this illness and cutting-edge treatment options, as well as guides to enjoying a healthy and productive lifestyle.
Real Talk from Real Men
Man2Man started with a bunch of guys who were dealing with prostate cancer and just wanted straight answers. They weren’t finding what they needed in the usual places, so they did what guys usually hesitate to do - talk about sensitive topics. Sharing their stories turned out to be the key. It helped them feel supported, encouraged, and gave them hope when things felt uncertain.
They realized they weren’t alone—and neither are you.
So, they got organized. They became a leading support group for men looking for information, support, and someone who truly gets it. Their own experiences as survivors became a lifeline for other men and their families—who were trying to figure things out.
With help from doctors and advocates, Man2Man kicked off a program to get people talking more openly about prostate cancer. Because let’s be honest—too many men have been suffering in silence for way too long. That needs to change.
Who We Are
Since 2013, the Memphis Man2Man Prostate Cancer Support Group has provided an avenue where men and their families can receive support from other Survivors and hope through awareness and education on this disease. We bring together prostate cancer patients, caregivers and medical professionals to share and assist in this process. During our support group meetings, we invite Physicians, Oncologists, Nutritionists, Researchers, Advocates and more to speak and provide their insights. Our members also carry life altering information to local churches, community events and health fairs, as well as business organizational meetings.
Our Goal is to replace fear with hope, and to empower all men with the information they need for a healthy physical and emotional well-being, especially in the underserved and higher risk African American communities.
